Why do I need an installation kit for my Tankless Water Heater hot Rennai?

I recently ordered a tankless heater hot water (Rennai R35i PLUS). When I took it I was told that also needed an installation kit that costs half as much as unity. In my opinion, if the accessory that costs more than 10 percent of any original item should come with the original item and the cost adjusted accordingly. There is one near a bait and move on. " Perhaps I decided a different manufacturer if I'd known it was going to be beaten with a price increase of 50%. What makes this kit do?

I hope that was not electrical unit, and that usually requires an update service level due to high amperage
