I need a new heater .. but also?
My water heater has a right behind the drain valve / gas thermostat. Also There was a little rusty coming into the water a few months ago, so I think it's time for a new one. Apparently, I have a water heater direct vent gas. I was told by Home Depot which will cost $ 800 for water heater $ 400 with installation, so do not even see the water heater in your system! What are my options? I think I might be trying to take a walk. If I pay so much, I'd rather go with something new, economically, as a Tankless Water Heater. Comments? Advice about this budget? Thanks in advance! Yes, wind is already there. All screws and bolts (except welded pipes). I will definitely check all. Maybe sleep with an electric one. Thank you all get a thumbs up b / c they were good answers. In deciding to buy a gas water heater, regular friend for help. If it cost me $ 600 for a 50G.
I was in the same situation two years ago. I went to Home Depot option. The heater is very good, but I have no regrets. Confident first regret Installation at Home Depot. You are 100% reason to suspect that the installation cost of $ 400. Every house is different, but in mine, the man took a little over 30 minutes to install. Therefore, based on the hourly rate is expensive. If you have a drain nearby, can move the tank when Empy age, it is easy to do if you have a car. The new one is obviously not empty, so it is very difficult to move. There are a couple of "good know that "things as establishing new areas to ensure water heaters do not move in a sloping floor … So, it would be good to find someone with experience, if not installed before. But check out a technician. Get one with references and also check it out on BBB.org. I bet you can reduce installation costs significantly in the cost of Home Depot. Water Heaters point second is the heater it self. I got the Top Line Home Depot, and do not much research myself. Big mistake. The use of the energy label said it was a model of efficiency mid-grade. I thought that for the top prize, give me a supermodel. Bad assumption. I also have a price of a hot water heater. Thing about these is that there are few brands, take regular maintenance and are expensive to repair, because not too many plumbers are trained to work on them. I also have a price of solar water heaters. Ridiculously expensive. The traditional tank system is relatively inexpensive, and technology is well known and reliable. So, in summary, research on the water heater yourself, get one, you're happy. Then Get hands of a neighbor with experience or the price of the installation for you. Compare this to what Home Depot says before deciding.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
